An international group of women coming together to make new friends;
learn about the country and city we are living in;
and giving back to the local community by doing charity work.
The Club was established in 1993 by 4 women.
Our membership is everchanging with people coming and going, but we generally have approximately 50 members from 20 or more countries in the Club.
OBJECTIVES
1. To help women who arrive in Estonia to settle in to their new surroundings and to meet other women.
2. To enable our members to understand and appreciate Estonian culture, traditions and history through contact with other Estonians and visits to places of interest.
3. To engage in fund-raising activities that will benefit local charities.
ACTIVITIES
Charity -
We raise funds for a chosen Estonian children’s or women's Charity (Children's home, shelter, etc).
Excursions and tours -
We normally meet two to three times a month. We offer our members a variety of events, a historical place of interest, a factory or possibly a walk in another district.
Guest Speakers -
We invite guest speakers to our social activities in order to know more about the country and society we live in.
Breakfasts, Lunch and Dinners -
A tradition to get together once a month for a coffee morning is still alive and enjoyed by many. There is a relaxed atmosphere, and it is a good place to introduce a new member.
Lunch is a good time to catch up with our members who work as well as to explore new restaurants in Tallinn.
Dinner, on occasion, we can enjoy a meal without rushing to run some errands during the day which can, also, include our spouses or friends to meet and share our company.
Sports and hiking -
Swimming, Pilates, Tennis, bowling, walking, and more to come!
Clubs -
We encourage members to start-up and run a club/group.
