The IWCT organised annual Christmas Charity Auctions with help from La Gallerie Passage in both 2001 and 2002. The events were held at the British Ambassador’s residence in Tabasalu. Members of the Club brought dishes from their countries for a potluck lunch. All funds raised went to support the Children’s Street Shelter in Tartu.
In 2001, the Club raised approximately 100 000 EEK and this was used to build bathrooms in the shelter.
