What an outstanding effort by everyone involved in the success of our 17th ICB.
In coming together as a united international community, we were able to bring yet another year of this unique, culturally diverse and family friendly event to the Tallinn festive season; all with the aim of assisting children’s and women’s charities supported by the International Women’s Club of Tallinn (IWCT).
Every one of our volunteers from 17 embassies, 2 NATO units, 3 international schools, 3 charities, associations, vendors and members have worked tirelessly to bring this event back again for the 17th time. We also thank our many generous sponsors, particularly our Bronze Sponsors, who donated an enticing array of items for our Silent Auction and Tombola. And we think you’ll agree, it was a standout success. The wonderful team at Balti Jaama Turg enabled us to continue to put on this event in a safe manner and we were blessed with a beautiful Estonian winter day bringing everyone together in a true European Christmas market way. It certainly didn’t stop hundreds of eager shoppers sampling the delicious treats and products from around the world.
We even made the nightly news for the first time!
Together we have made a positive impact on the physical and mental wellbeing of so many women and children in need of support, especially those children that need a safe and nurturing place to call home. And with winter here, many of the most disadvantaged will continue to receive the help they need.
We hope you are feeling rested and very proud of your contribution, generosity and hard work. We could not do this without each and every one of you.
Enjoy your time with family and friends during this festive season and we will see you again in 2023!
