Located beside the iconic Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, this historic house on Toompea Hill has served as a noble family’s mansion, the residence of Estonia’s Head of State, a government ministry, a Soviet ministry, and today, the home of Germany’s Ambassador. Few buildings in Tallinn have witnessed so many chapters of Estonian history.
