The 15th International Christmas Bazaar took place on Sunday, November 29th for the first time as Outdoor Bazaar in the Farmer’s Market of Balti Jaama Turg. Eight Embassies presented their country’s specialties. During the four opening hours, almost 2.000 visitors found their way to the Bazaar and two of our charity partners introduced their work: My Dream Day Foundation and SOS Children’s Village.
Since the end of October and still ongoing, we hold an Online Charity Auction on the well established platform Osta.ee. More than 50 companies and individuals sponsored the Auction and Bazaar.
The Bazaar organization team consisted of about 15 IWCT members contributing their time for the last three months. On the day of the Bazaar, there were 20 club members along with 50 additional volunteers and the embassy teams to make it a safe and enjoyable experience for the visitors.
Until now, the campaign raised more than 17.000 Euro which will be distributed in 2021 among the charity organizations that submit eligible project applications until December 31st. The list of the aid recipients will be finalized by the approval of the club members during the General Meeting in February 2021.
We couldn’t have reached this success without your support and would like to express our heartfelt Thank You! We hope we can continue our cooperation also in the following years.
